Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to join our client’s team for a 21-month engagement. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex multi-system integrations with Oracle Cloud. This role requires a proactive leader who can bridge the gap between technical design and client requirements while ensuring the stability of our client’s integration ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Development: Design and implement robust integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI to connect Oracle Cloud with third-party systems.
- Reporting & Database: Develop complex BIP (BI Publisher) Reports and utilize PL/SQL for data processing and extraction.
- Production Support: Perform proactive monitoring of integration flows. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve failed or error jobs to ensure business continuity.
- Lifecycle Management: Navigate the full Implementation and Support lifecycles, adhering strictly to Incident Management and Change Management protocols.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical review discussions, provide architectural guidance, and mentor junior team members.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical design documents (TDD) and mapping specifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary technical point of contact for the customer, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9–12 years of experience in Oracle technical roles.
- Expertise in OIC: Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud is mandatory.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, BI Publisher, and API protocols (REST/SOAP).
- Data Migration: Proven experience with FBDI (File-Based Data Import) processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Professionalism: Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to manage technical delivery expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
- Previous experience working in a lead capacity on multi-year Oracle Cloud implementation projects.
