Pay & Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,400–$1,800/week
• Annual equivalent: $73,000–$93,000/year
• CPM: 65¢
• Stop pay: $22 per stop
• Short haul: $40
• Miles: 2,000–2,500 per week
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000

Orientation

• Your one-day paid orientation is designed to prepare you for the road and includes safety procedures, equipment familiarization, drug screening, and a driver skills assessment. You'll receive $300 in orientation pay with your first paycheck, and transportation and hotel accommodations are fully provided.

Freight & Routes

• This local intermodal account features 100% no-touch container freight operating throughout the Northwest. More than 90% of all loads are within a 50-mile radius of the terminal, allowing drivers to stay close to the operating area while enjoying established routes, consistent freight volumes, steady miles, and reliable year-round work.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
• Automatic transmission only - manual restriction accepted
• Assigned truck

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• No prior experience needed - new graduates welcome
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must reside within 50 miles of Troutdale, OR
• Basic load securement knowledge
• No major moving violations in the last 12 months
• Background check for last 10 years
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
• Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule
• Operate automatic tractors with 48–53 foot trailers
• Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
