Fire Sprinkler Inspector (NICET 2 Certification)

This is a key position within our growing team providing NFPA inspections and testing. Customer and employee communications is a significant part of this position

The ideal candidate for this position:

· Experience in fire sprinkler system inspections

· Backflow testing, service, maintenance a plus

· Customer Service focused

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Must be familiar with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards.

· Have technical understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge type systems.

· · NICET Level II in sprinkler inspection and testing required, Level III in inspection and testing preferred

Responsibilities:

· Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance

· Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing

· Troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections

· Provide detail report and corrective actions to the customer

· Work with management, schedule coordinator, and office admin at job completion

Job Skills:

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

· General knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards

· Competent math ability

· Good basic computer skills

· Detail oriented

· Strong organizational skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $22.27 - $26.82 per hour

Experience:

• Fire Sprinkler Inspector : 5 years (Preferred)
• · Backflow testing, service, maintenance : 3 years (Preferred)
• NICET Level II in sprinkler inspection and testing: 3 years (Preferred)
