Senior Associate, Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate, Data Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) expertise and experience working with complex retail and media datasets. This hybrid role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing workflows, and enabling data-driven monetization strategies.

What will your day look like? As a Senior Associate, Data Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
Implement and optimize data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting.
Work with event streaming technologies to process and manage real-time data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ingest, transform, and model RMN data for media monetization use cases.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all data pipelines.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python for data processing tasks.

You will be a good fit for the Senior Associate, Data Engineer role if you have:
4 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a media or retail environment.
Advanced proficiency in BigQuery, GCS, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and event streaming.
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
Prior experience working with Retail Media Network (RMN) data and media monetization strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to Have:
Experience with additional Google Cloud Platform data services or orchestration tools.
Familiarity with advanced analytics and data science workflows.
Exposure to cloud cost optimization and performance tuning practices.
