Summary
As a Food Runner at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, you are responsible for ensuring our guests’ dining experiences are enjoyable and well-timed. Food Runners will provide excellent customer service beyond the guests' expectations. A professional attitude is necessary for this team environment. Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting;
- Help guest with orders by explaining dishes and drinks and making recommendations as appropriate;
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests;
- Refill water and periodically check on guests to handle any issues promptly;
- Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards;
- Clean and reset tables;
Requirements
- Must be at least at least 18 years of age;
- 2 years serving experience in high volume restaurants preferred;
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills;
- Active listening and effective communication skills;
- Ability to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time;
- Ability to lift up to forty-fifty (40-50) pounds;
- TABC and Texas Food Handler's Certification;
Salary : $8 - $10
