Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing a high level of client engagement from start to finish, taking a lead role in defining a successful relationship with clients that will exceed their expectations. This role will work with the replenishment, analytical, & subject matter experts to deliver recommendations to the client to help increase sales, distribution, market penetration and profitability. You will excel in this role if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional client service through strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned Client Partners within Ulta beauty, providing insights, analysis, ensuring accurate item setup, timely execution and strong business results.
- Provide Strategic Level Guidance for all UB Marketplace brands and ongoing quarterly touch bases to achieve goals set
- Strong Analytical skills and with experience in utilizing Ulta beauty data with the ability to disseminate impactful stories and recommendations to our clients that tie to strategy
- Strong focus on quality assurance and accuracy of data and information that is provided to the client and highlights concerns and trends to Client Partners
- Provide critical thinking and proactively identifies sales trends and opportunities for our client Partners
- Builds Strong relationships with both the retailer and client, becoming an extension of our client’s team
- Manage relationships and communication with retailers, clients and cross functional teams
- Work with the team to identify barriers or obstacles to success and work to overcome them proactively
- Manages collaborative forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking for new items, marketing activities and ongoing business
- Demonstrate restless curiosity to identify new business and/or clients
- Attends all retailer meetings with Ulta Buyers, sets the agenda and helps to create the presentation to show a polished executive level presence
- Provides high level meeting recaps that outline action plans and next steps, proactively works to keep clients on Ulta's planning schedule
- Serve as a contributor in projects outside of existing clients
- 4 Year Degree
- 10 years of selling or buying experience with Ulta Beauty with a strong knowledge of the beauty landscape
- Proficient in data and storytelling (Excel skills a must!)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Beauty enthusiast is a plus; strong knowledge of the beauty industry is required.
- Effective and Efficient Project Management Skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, & keep projects moving forward
- Ability to listen, understand and resolve competing priorities
- Deep Ulta Beauty experience paired with strong analytical and storytelling skills to deliver clear, actionable insights that drive growth.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with retailers, brand partners, and cross-functional teams while serving as an extension of the client’s business.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to lead retailer meetings, anticipate opportunities, and deliver polished, results-driven communication in a fast-paced environment.
