Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintenance of customer contracts, and the sales of service and chemicals to customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential clients for service contracts.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, or inbound inquiries.
- Reach out to prospective clients to discuss their service needs and present service contract options.
- Conduct virtual meetings or calls to explain service offerings and address client questions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Develop and send detailed proposals and quotations for service contracts.
- Negotiate terms and pricing of service contracts with clients.
- Close deals and ensure all necessary documentation and agreements are completed.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional services when applicable.
- Oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewal reminders and amendments.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and handle any contractual disputes.
- Track sales performance metrics and report on progress towards targets.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Work closely with other sales team members, customer service, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Share insight and feedback with management to enhance service offerings and sales approaches.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract details.
- Utilize CRM (SAP) systems to manage leads, opportunities, and customer data.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- 3 years of experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales.
- Passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meetings and exceeding sales targets.
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to be on the telephone for an extended part of the workday.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined.
