Summary

The Chemical Regional Leader is responsible for overseeing chemical delivery, application, and service excellence across North America while driving new account acquisition and supporting key customer relationships. This role serves as the primary mentor for the Chemical Team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver safe, consistent, and high quality service. In addition to developing people and growing the business, the Regional Leader provides guidance, direction, and leadership to Field Staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational success. The position acts as the field liaison for key accounts, ensuring alignment between customer needs, company standards, and team performance to achieve critical business results.

Managerial Responsibilities: 80%

  • In this role, the primary focus is leading and empowering the Field Staff, with a strong emphasis on people, culture, and operational excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Field Staff by modeling company values, fostering accountability, and creating an inclusive, supportive team environment.
  • Cultivate a safety first culture, ensuring all team members are well trained, confident in their tasks, and committed to safe practices every day.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support, ensuring all field duties are performed to company standards while reinforcing teamwork and collaboration.
  • Promote open, consistent communication as the liaison between Driver Technicians, internal departments, and customers, ensuring clarity, trust, and alignment.
  • Support individual and team growth by identifying training needs, creating development opportunities, and delivering ongoing performance feedback.
  • Oversee logistics and inventory in a people centric manner, ensuring teams have what they need on time, organized, and fully supported.
  • Drive operational and financial awareness, helping the team understand how their work contributes to overall service quality and company profitability.
  • Travel as needed to support regions, reinforce culture, coach staff, and model best practices.
  • Advise customers on new chemical solutions and improvements, ensuring our field team is seen as trusted, knowledgeable partners.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, celebrating wins, addressing challenges proactively, and maintaining a positive, high performance environment.

Chemical Technician Responsibilities: 20%

  • These duties reflect hands on operational responsibilities while continuing to uphold strong team culture and customer partnership.
  • Maintain clean, orderly vehicles and warehouse spaces, reinforcing pride in our workplace and a culture of readiness.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service team to support seamless operations and strong cross functional relationships.
  • Uphold and enforce high housekeeping standards within customer chemical areas.
  • Monitor and analyze chemical delivery systems to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and consumption tracking for all assigned accounts.
  • Train local Service Technicians on chemical service protocols with patience, clarity, and consistency.
  • Maintain product inventory at warehouses and customer sites with accuracy and ownership.
  • Engage with potential customer accounts to support growth and represent the company professionally.
  • Participate in customer complaint resolution through calm problem solving and collaborative communication.
  • Interface with customers and internal teams to share information effectively and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Stay informed about industry innovations, sharing insights that support team and company improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, ensuring accurate reporting and responsible information flow.
  • Perform additional duties and project work as needed to support team and business success.

Experience and Education Competencies

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Hazardous Material Endorsement (Haz-mat) preferred
  • Car Wash chemical required

Communication/Language Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions
  • Superb customer service skills

Technical Competencies

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

Travel

  • 40-50% Travel required

Safety

  • Must adhere to all safety rules, policies and regulations in relationship to OSHA and Mark VII Equipment standards.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check and have a clean driving record.

Work Environment: Must be open to flexible work schedule, including nights or weekends if necessary. This position has a varying work schedule and is required to participate in an on-call shift rotation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet be flexible and have ability to work in a team environment.
