Garage Door Specialist

We are looking for a diligent, hard-working individual who is mechanically inclined. We are seeking individuals who can install/ repair garage doors but will train someone with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn. The perfect candidate comes up with solutions, adapts to changing situations, and overcomes the common problems at a job site. Must have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a drug screening and background check. Qualifications and Skills

• Skills/Experience (preferred but not required) installing/repairing overhead doors
• Mechanically Inclined
• Wood framing (not required)
• 110 volt and 220 volt electrical basics (not required)
• Strong attendance record
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• A commitment to deliver superior customer service
• Must have HS Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs residential/commercial garage door(s)
• Performs preventative maintenance and proactive repairs when needed
• Represents company by serving as a direct company contact
• Provides repair vs. replacement options
• Responds to calls in a timely manner
• Provides sales leads to Sales Lead Coordinator
• Determines parts to order for repairs in a timely manner
• Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, job status and duration
• Records parts, materials, labor and other cost data per job and return unused resources to warehouse
• Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
• Maintains truck maintenance and completes truck inspection daily
• Required to drive a company vehicle and must follow all driving and safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Able to work at heights up to 20 feet
• Able to consistently to lift/pull/push/kneel/crouch/reach while handling tools necessary to install garage doors
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use depth perception. 
• Able to lift 75lbs
