Mark Gray Law is seeking a legal assistant to join our boutique law firm for a full-time, in-office role. The primary responsibility of this legal assistant position is to produce complex legal documents and to provide administrative assistance to lawyers and staff in the areas of estate planning, business law, and other firm practice areas. A person in this position must be able to demonstrate professional integrity, attention to detail, and good judgment. A professional image, excellent communication and strong organizational skills are required. In addition, this position requires being responsible, dependable, and highly motivated; possessing a great work attitude; and being a team player. Desirable candidates are those with three years of experience in the foregoing matters, but on the job training is provided. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications:
1. The ability and willingness to:
- Analyze and resolve routine administrative conflicts.

- Communicate clearly and collaborate with the team.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism and responsibility for assigned tasks, and learn from problematic situations when they occur.
2. Three years of secretarial experience in a document intensive, detail-oriented environment preferred.
3. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
4. Ability to perform duties according to the policies, procedures and instructions set forth by the supervising lawyer(s).
5. Ability to type accurately and efficiently from draft or dictation.
6. Proficient speed and accuracy with Microsoft Office products.
7. Ability to organize both electronic and hardcopy data and documents.
8. Ability to prepare the following:
- Estate planning documentation such as wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney, and other related documents.
- Corporate and limited liability company documents such as Articles, certificates, minutes, correspondence, and related documents required to form and maintain legal entities.
9. Communicates in an accurate, clear, professional, friendly and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, with clients and other legal and financial professionals.
10. Ability to follow deadlines and ensure all documents are prepared and ready for appointments.
