What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Mark Development Inc.?
Maintenance Technician with general handyman experience that will be utilized around residential building property daily.
Requirements
- Work in/outdoors in various weather
- Perform basic electircal repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. Light plumbing work (ie: clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.)
- Carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves, flooring, interior and exterior painting.
- Replacing and fixing screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, window treatments.
- Janitorial and Grounds (Landscaping) work, includes but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, empty trash, cleaning the common areas, pressure washing (sidewalks, walk ways, building walls).
- Clean facility walk ways, common areas, community room, laundry room, management office.
- Responding to work orders from residents in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist the Property Manager with move-in and move-out inspections, assist in annual inspections, and complete make-ready process for vacant units.
- Accurate record keeping regarding preventive maintenance, work orders, refurbishments, annual inspections, inventory or supplies, and perform schedule maintenance on all equipment.
- Report any and all maintenance concerns to Property Manager in a timely manner.
- Work the other maintenance technicians.
Physical Demands
- Able to lift, push and pull equipment
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl
- Able to be able to work emergency hours (should it arise)
- Daily walks around the property, upstairs to tenant units
- Use of hands and fingers, to reach and use tools.
Skills / Characteristics:

- Familiarity with basic trade tools and grounds keeping equipment (not a requirement but a familiarity)

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
