Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations 45 minute, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, providing necessary support.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
