- Schedule: Monday–Wednesday 7:30 am–4:30 pm; Thursday 7:30 am–12:30 pm, with optional additional hours up to 4:30 pm for administrative/clinical support tasks

Responsibilities
- Prepare operatories for procedures, including setting up trays, materials, and instruments; turn over and restock rooms between patients.
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry for a variety of procedures, including restorative, crown/bridge, and implant‑related treatments.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with current infection control standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Take digital impressions and dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
- Review and update health histories, document treatment, and enter notes accurately in Dentrix.
- Provide post‑operative instructions and reinforce home care and oral hygiene recommendations.
- Support basic front office tasks as needed, such as checking patients in and out, confirming appointments, and updating patient information.
- Monitor and maintain clinical supply levels, notifying the appropriate team member when items need to be ordered.
- Assist with additional tasks on Thursday afternoons as needed, such as instrument processing, stocking, lab work, or charting support.
- Contribute to a professional, respectful, and team‑oriented office culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on‑the‑job training preferred.
- Current state dental assisting credential and radiology certification, as required by state law.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Prior chairside assisting experience preferred; motivated candidates with minimal experience (including under 1 year) who are eager to learn will be considered and trained.
- Experience is a plus, but a positive attitude, reliability, strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow with our team are most important.
