Lead, Brewing

Role Purpose

The Brewing Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brewing process, leading, training and coaching a team of brewers, and ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. They are a valued resource for the Brewing Operators to assist troubleshooting in order to ensure unforeseen process events are being addressed with a sense of urgency. They complete all tasks including brewing, blending, sanitation, quality, and filtration.

Accountabilities & Impact

• Ensure all brewing, blending, filtration, kitting, lab work, and sanitation activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead, train, coach, and cover when needed brewing operators on shift
• Troubleshoot and resolve brewing equipment issues with urgency to minimize downtime and maintain production targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, packaging maintenance, and supply chain to keep on schedule
• Maintain brewing process consistency by monitoring key parameters (ABV, CO2 and more) and ensuring documentation accuracy
  
  

Skills & Experiences Needed

• Strong brewing understanding of full brewing process
• Effective leadership, coaching, and communication skills in a fast paced environment
• Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
• High School diploma or equivalent required, associates degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in leadership roles in manufacturing
• Previous Brewing or high speed food manufacturing experience
• Brewing/Filtration experience a plus
