What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Mark Allan Contracting, Inc?
At Mark Allan Contracting, we're builders who get the job done right. We handle light commercial projects across Atlanta, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who knows how to run jobs from start to finish.
If you can keep multiple projects on track, manage subs, and communicate well with clients, we want to talk to you.
Run the Job – Take approved projects and make them happen. Work with our team to nail down schedules and budgets for projects ranging from $50K to $200K .
Keep Things Moving – Manage 3-5 jobs at once (usually 1-2 bigger projects plus a few smaller ones). Schedule subs and suppliers, and make sure everything shows up when it's supposed to.
Order Materials – Make sure materials get ordered, tracked, and delivered on time and on budget.
Be on Site – You'll spend about 70% of your time in the field checking progress, maintaining quality, and fixing problems before they get bigger.
Communicate – You're the main contact for clients, subs, and our team. Keep everyone in the loop and manage expectations.
Solve Problems – Spot issues early, figure out solutions, and keep jobs moving forward.
Track Everything – Keep records of budgets, schedules, changes, and updates
10 years of construction project management experience – Residential remodeling or light commercial preferred.
You know codes – And you understand GA Codes & OSHA
You can manage budgets – You know how to track costs and keep jobs profitable.
You're comfortable with technology – We use Google Suite, Xactimate, Slack, OpenPhone, and FollowUpBoss for our CRM
You're organized – You can juggle multiple jobs and keep all the moving parts straight.
You communicate well – You can talk to clients, manage subs, and keep the team on the same page.
Local knowledge is a bonus – Familiar with Atlanta metro? Great. Have a solid sub network? Even better.
Pay – $100K–$150K based on experience and performance.
