Now Hiring: Staff Development & Infection Control Coordinator (RN)
Full-Time | Exempt | $90,000 – $95,000/year

We’re seeking a Staff Development & Infection Control Coordinator to play a critical role in shaping staff excellence and maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention across our facility.
This is a dual-impact leadership role where you’ll drive employee education while leading infection control initiatives that directly impact resident outcomes.
What You’ll DoStaff Development & Education
- Lead and manage a comprehensive orientation and onboarding program for all new hires
- Assess, design, and implement ongoing in-service education programs
- Coordinate required training (CPR, regulatory compliance, competencies)
- Maintain training records, attendance logs, and education reporting
- Partner with leadership and HR to ensure seamless employee onboarding and development
- Support staff competency validation and professional growth initiatives
Infection Control Leadership
- Oversee the facility-wide infection prevention and control program
- Conduct surveillance, tracking, and reporting of infections
- Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures
- Educate staff on infection prevention best practices and regulatory standards
- Lead infection control audits, rounds, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including dietary, housekeeping, and nursing
- Prepare for and participate in state and federal surveys
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-Time, Exempt
- Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 annually
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (Days)
- Occasional off-shift hours as needed
- Weekend on-call rotation required
What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (long-term care, hospital, or similar setting)
- Experience in staff education and/or infection control (ICF preferred)
- Strong understanding of infection prevention, epidemiology, and regulatory standards
- Background in adult learning principles and staff training
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
