Title: Occupational Therapist
Status: Contractor working full time or part time, and in-person

Company Description(s): We are a multi-disciplinary hybrid Early Intervention/Early Start (Birth-3) therapy agency that provides therapy services (Speech, OT, PT, Child Development) to our young clientele in a natural environment/home-based therapy model. Both Spanish and English clientele are provided services in both a consultative and direct therapy model on a weekly and bi-monthly basis and as authorized by our local Regional Center.
Job Description:
- Provide evaluations, reports, goals, direct therapy and consultation services to both Early Start children and their families
- Implement and collaborate with trans-disciplinary team services to children with a variety of developmental and diagnostic indicators (Autism, Down Syndrome, etc)
- Attend and report at multi-disciplinary team meetings on a bi-annual and annual basis as requested and indicated by the Early Start program
- Provide consultation services to parents/caregivers, teachers, and to community specialists and professionals regarding client progress and recommendations
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must possess current California license for Occupational Therapy
- Ability to drive to all home-based therapy appointments in the assigned area & provide proof of a valid California driver's license and auto insurance
- Spanish skills are an asset, but not required.
- Strong report writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrate solid professional communication and the ability to work with a variety of therapists, specialists, families and community professionals
- Must possess proof of liability insurance
