Responsibilities
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Marion Assisted Living, you will:
- Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Document medication administration and resident observations accurately.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Follow all state regulations and company policies.
- Participate in resident care planning and team meetings.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care every shift.
Qualifications
- Current Kansas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
