What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Service Technician position at MarineMax Services Inc?
OVERVIEW: The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for performing mechanical repairs on boats and equipment at off site locations and marinas.
KEY TASKS:
- Perform mechanical repairs on boats and equipment
- Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing
- Ensure all warranty repairs are completed according to manufacturers and MarineMax guidelines
- Inspect boats, prepare and itemize estimate listing parts and labor
- Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler and SSO’s within the established timeframe
- Maintain and secure inventory and tools on company vehicles at all times
- Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of MarineMax
- Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction
- Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments
- Ensure professional and clean appearance of company vehicles
- Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Other duties as assigned
