Lead revenue growth as we expand Boatyard's market share across the marine industry.
Boatyard is the operating system for the marine industry — a dealer management platform purpose-built for marinas, boat dealerships, and service departments. We are scaling fast and looking for a Director of Sales to lead revenue growth as we expand market share across the industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Drive growth and increase Boatyard's market share by winning new marina and dealership customers and expanding within existing accounts
– Define and refine our sales process, building playbooks, qualification frameworks, pipeline discipline, and forecasting cadences that scale
– Build and lead a high-performing sales team as we grow — hiring, coaching, and holding reps accountable to quota
– Own revenue forecasting and pipeline reporting, bringing rigor and visibility to the business on a weekly basis
– Work closely with the President to shape go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, and partnership-driven deal structures
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
– Proven SaaS Sales Leader: 5 years in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 2 years leading a team or owning a sales function
– Vertical Software Experience: Experience selling to trade or service businesses; marine, automotive, powersports, or similar a strong plus
– Builder Mindset: Comfortable in an early-stage environment where you are defining the process, not inheriting it
– Operationally Fluent: Strong CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene, and ability to translate activity metrics into forecasted revenue
– Multi-Product Acumen: Ability to position a platform sale across service, sales, and marina modules in a single deal
– Strong Communicator: Can run an executive-level conversation with a marina owner or dealership GM as comfortably as a product demo
