Role Overview
The Customer Service Representative/Office Support plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and helping Marine Vinyl Fabric run smoothly day to day. This role is primarily focused on customer support, order accuracy and clear communication, with occasional office support tasks that support a well-organized and welcoming workplace.

Responsibilities
Customer Service (Primary Focus)
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Update, place, and track customer orders accurately
- Resolve customer questions and issues, escalating when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records in the order management system
Team & Workplace/Office Support (As Needed)
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Help keep shared office spaces organized and welcoming
- Monitor and restock basic office supplies
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks that help the team operate smoothly
Success Metrics
- Respond to all customer inquiries within 1 hour
- Phone calls should be answered within 30 seconds
- First Call Resolution - limit callbacks
- Maintain accurate and timely order processing
- Provide a consistently positive customer experience
- Support a clean, organized and functional workspace
- Demonstrate consistent alignment with our core values
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or higher preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with email, phone systems, and basic office software
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Positive, professional attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Required Hours
This role is available as either full-time or part-time.
- Full-time: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Part-time: Consistent weekday schedule to be determined based on availability and business needs
- Occasional flexibility may be needed during busy periods
