Job Responsibilities
- Attend organized safety walks daily
- Possess working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items
- Correct safety discrepancies on vessels and piers
- Check employees for safety issues- PPE, safe working practices
- Maintain daily reports on the safety walks and issues addressed
- Work well in conjunction with other departments and help other employees
- Follow all safety regulations and set a good example
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Able to pass a thorough background check
- Obtain clearance for a TWIC badge and DBID
- Drug free
- Dependable
- Experience in maritime safety preferred
- Full time availability
