Labor & Employment Practice Attorney (Off-Track) – Houston
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking an experienced employment attorney for a flexible, non-partnership track role in its Labor and Employment practice. This collegial, tight-knit team is seeking a minimum of 4 years of experience advising employers on a variety of employment law matters, including employee handbook and policy drafting, EEOC charge responses and workplace compliance and counseling issues. Note that they are happy to consider more senior level candidates for this opportunity and are open to flexible arrangements.
The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not available now or in the future
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of employment law experience; senior level experience is valued
- Comfortability with a non-partnership track opportunity
- Experience advising employers on employment matters such as employee handbook and policy drafting, EEOC charge responses and workplace compliance and counseling issues
- Strong interpersonal skills with excitement to join a collaborative, friendly office
- Law firm or in-house experience strongly will be prioritized; big law is a plus
