RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on used vehicles prior to resale.
- Diagnose and address mechanical and cosmetic issues efficiently.
- Conduct oil changes, brake jobs, tire replacements, and other routine services.
- Ensure all reconditioning work meets dealership quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to prioritize vehicle readiness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Other duties given by supervisor, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1–2 years of automotive technician or reconditioning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Great communication skills
COMPENSATION:
The Reconditioning Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25.00 and $35.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
- Hourly and Flat Rate compensation based on experience and certifications.
