The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle safety and performance, specializing in Asian cars. This role involves diagnosing and repairing engines, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics within a collaborative team of 3-5 technicians. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the technician works standard business hours to ensure timely and efficient vehicle service while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining tools and equipment in optimal condition. No travel is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct engine repairs and routine inspections
- Maintain and repair brake systems and hydraulic components
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Replace worn or damaged parts accurately and efficiently
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all repair activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in automotive repair
- Technical certificate in automotive technology
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in engine diagnostics, brake systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience as an Asian car specialist
