We are seeking a highly organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our faith-centered private school. Marin Christian Academy was founded in 1979 as a ministry of New Life Christian Center in Novato, California. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer support. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Candidates must be committed Christians who actively grow in their faith, regularly attend a Bible-believing church, and serve as positive Christian role models for students and staff.
- Commitment to uphold the school's Statement of Faith and values.
- Ability to pass a thorough background screening and fingerprinting.
- Minimum of 2 years of office manager experience.
- Strong customer service skills, proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets, Word, Excel
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate office activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee school calendars, scheduling tours, and organization of school events.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate school records and files, including student information if applicable, while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with school operations is a plus but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with staff, teachers, parents, and students.
- Proficient in using office software and computerized systems for document management and communication.
- Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and performing proofreading tasks.
