Kitchen Sanitation Utility Worker

Summary

Kitchen Sanitation & Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen in accordance with CCC, HACCP and industry regulations.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and all equipment. This includes ensuring all kitchen utensils, stainless steel tables, mixers, refrigerators, ovens, stove tops, kitchen walls and floors are maintained, cleaned, and sanitized in accordance with industry standards.
• Adhere to all HACCP regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage, which includes proper food storage and the security of food storage areas as well as all related equipment.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related area in accordance with regulations, in addition to keeping temperature logs, and other various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc.
• May track and order kitchen equipment, maintenance, and supplies.
• Be able to work well with others and work quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Must be able to lift cases up to 50 pounds and carry them from storage areas to work areas.
• Work varied shifts such as weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
  
  

Experience Requirements

• 1 years of kitchen, production or manufacturing experience preferred
  
  

Education and Professional Requirements

• Highschool or Equivalent
• Must be 21 or older
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually.
  
  

Physical Requirements and Working conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform the following physical tasks for extended periods of time: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
