Graphic Designer

Marimed, Inc. is a Multi-State Operator (MSO) operating both retail and wholesale across several states and growing rapidly. As the cannabis industry continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace the Graphic Designer is a critical role focused exclusively against building strong brands with national recognition. As a Graphic Designer, you will support the creative team in the development and execution of design assets across packaging, social media, in-store displays, and promotional campaigns. This role is ideal for a design professional who is passionate about branding, loves working with tangible products, and wants to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative team.

This role collaborates with cross-functional teams—including R&D, Operations, Sales, and Trade —to ensure alignment on commercialization plans and successful product launches. The graphic designer will also assist in creating impactful brand packaging, marketing campaigns, social media content, trade marketing pieces, and contributing to innovation and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and production of packaging, labels, and printed collateral
  • Design digital assets for social media, retail digital point-of-sale, and email marketing
  • Support Creative Director and Senior Designer with concepting, layout work

and design research

  • Prepare files for print and digital delivery, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across multiple product lines and retail brands
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations
  • Stay current with cannabis trends, consumer packaging, and design best practices
  • Apex imagery – ensuring all product images are current and correct across

all SKUs and states

  • Brandfolder imagery - ensuring all images, selling materials and information is current and correct across all SKUs and states

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • A strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, and digital work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a must)
  • Working knowledge of Figma, Sketch and Canva for digital asset creation
  • Familiarity with preparing production-ready files and print processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong typography and layout abilities
  • Photography, motion graphics, or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro)

· Interest in cannabis culture, sustainability, and consumer trends

  • Ability to take feedback, learn quickly, and work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear,

concise briefs and present findings effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):

  • Experience with 3D mockups or rendering tools (e.g. Dimension, Blender)
  • Experience photo retouching and color correction in Adobe LIghtroom
  • Familiarity with social media content creation and management tools
  • Knowledge of cannabis regulatory requirements for packaging
