Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for cashiering, sales processing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling, payroll processing, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and budget monitoring.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in retail math, merchandising, inventory management software, and POS systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management.
- Experience with employee recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training processes.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and marketing initiatives.
