Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through tastings with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Educate visitors on our wine selections, production process, and pairing suggestions to enhance their experience
- Upsell additional products such as wine bottles, merchandise, or food pairings to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, ensuring all food safety standards are met during tastings and food service
- Assist with menu planning for tastings or special events, leveraging culinary experience or knowledge of the food industry
- Support events as needed, including serving guests and managing food presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with Commerce 7 is a plus
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining genuine guest interactions
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and food safety protocols within the food industry
- Experience in serving at fine dining establishments or banquet settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to educate guests about wines and answer their questions confidently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
