Duties
- Coordinate talent acquisition processes by sourcing candidates through HR systems (such as ATS and HRIS), managing interview schedules, and assisting with onboarding activities like employee orientation and training programs.
- Support employee evaluation procedures by gathering performance data, assisting with performance management initiatives, and facilitating feedback sessions.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and handling inquiries related to employee benefits and workers' compensation claims.
- Assist with workforce management tasks such as scheduling, attendance tracking, and data collection to ensure accurate personnel records.
- Contribute to HR projects involving organization design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and change management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor laws by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of FMLA regulations, HR legal compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle confidential information with integrity while supporting HR department operations through data entry, Excel data analysis, and report generation.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related HR department role with a focus on personnel administration and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards such as FMLA.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize HR systems (including Oracle HCM or similar platforms), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis), and ATS tools for recruiting purposes.
- Experience in project management related to HR initiatives like training & development programs or organizational restructuring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict resolution effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures and benefits administration processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while supporting strategic planning efforts such as workforce planning and succession planning.
