6-12 Assistant Principal

This position is replacing an outgoing assistant principal who is taking on a principal role in the District. The assistant principal must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, build relationships, and understand that children and adults come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The successful candidate will be able to use these skills and also learn the culture of the building and community to support the building principal in providing a safe and dynamic learning environment for all. Specific duties include but are not limited to evaluations, student discipline, committee leadership, and everything else that comes with being an administrator in a NYS public school. Attendance at after school and evening events is expected. The 6-12 houses 565 students.

Valid NYS certification: Initial/professional school building leader OR permanent school administrator/supervisor. Interns will be considered.
