Camp Barney Medintz is hiring a Production Chef (Line Cook) to support our culinary team in a high-volume kosher kitchen. This is a versatile, hands-on role working across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts, helping cover days off and ensuring consistent, high-quality meal service.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as assigned
- Follow recipes and production charts to ensure proper quantities and consistency
- Assist across multiple stations, filling in where needed to support daily operations
- Ensure all food meets kosher standards and quality expectations
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow food safety standards
- Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and FIFO rotation
- Help receive and properly store deliveries
- Work collaboratively with Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen team
- Adapt quickly to changing needs and shifting schedules
Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or high-volume food service environment
- Basic knowledge of kosher kitchen practices (preferred; willingness to learn required)
- Ability to follow directions, recipes, and production systems
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a team setting
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Camp, catering, or institutional dining experience
- Experience with special diets (allergies, gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan)
- Experience working with diverse teams or international staff
Schedule
- Full-time seasonal role with rotating shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Includes weekends and varied days off
