What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up garnishes for dishes and prepare trays for service.
- Stock dishware, silverware, and linens as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Reset trays promptly and efficiently throughout service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down station at beginning and end of shift.
- Deliver food orders accurately and in a timely manner to guests.
- Maintain ticket times and ensure prompt delivery consistent with quoted times.
- Ensure proper plate presentation standards are met before delivery.
- Assist with guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively between servers and kitchen associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of tray setups and service ware.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stay on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to understand verbal English for guest requests and written English for safety notices.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs.
- No prior experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to learn menu items and garnishes.
- Ability to multi-task and stay composed during peak hours.
- Ability to self-motivate during slower periods.
- Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.
