What will you be doing?
- Set up banquet spaces per Banquet Event Order (BEO) and provide contracted customer service.
- Lead the Banquet department in the Manager's absence, directing staff for efficient setup.
- Maintain banquet facilities, including carpet cleaning and vacuuming.
- Aid in serving guests and understand event setup requirements.
- Work reliably in a 24-hour operation with varied schedules and high-pressure situations.
- Break down function rooms.
- Assist in banquet serving as needed.
- Organize, control, and restock linen and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry 100 lbs.
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and proper set-up as well as have basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Must be detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accurate work as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
- Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times
- Previous hospitality/customer service experience is preferred.
