Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizza styles according to established recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and slicing tools
• Ensure all food handling and food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
• Maintain high-quality food production standards during peak hours in a high-volume setting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and excellent customer satisfaction
• Adhere to all food safety management protocols, including proper food storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices

Skills

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English for effective communication with diverse team members and customers
• Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and operating kitchen equipment safely
• Background in culinary arts or fine dining experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in high-volume production environments
