Duties
- Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing, sales tracking, and inventory control.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, controlling food costs, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.
- Supervise staff training programs on food handling, safety procedures, customer service excellence, and kitchen operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures while maintaining accountability during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant environment.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing coaching to develop their skills in food production, hospitality management, and team management.
- Monitor shift performance, manage scheduling, and coordinate daily tasks to optimize restaurant efficiency.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to refine menu offerings and ensure consistent quality in pizza preparation and presentation.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine preferred.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, conducting staff training & development, and managing restaurant operations efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations in the food industry.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel/banquet settings is advantageous.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and shift scheduling to maximize profitability.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
