Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing tills
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and food safety procedures to ensure quality standards are met
- Support the team with basic math calculations for retail math, grocery store operations, and sales transactions
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while upselling products to enhance sales
- Experience in kitchen or café environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
