What You'll Do

As a Delivery Driver, you will help make sure our customers receive their food hot, fresh, accurate, and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely delivering Marco’s Pizza orders to customers
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Verifying orders before leaving the restaurant
• Following GPS/navigation to efficiently locate delivery addresses
• Collecting payments and accurately handling cash when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle
• Following safe driving practices at all times
• Communicating with customers and restaurant team members
• Answering phones and assisting customers when needed
• Helping prepare orders and organize deliveries
• Folding boxes and assisting with basic food preparation
• Restocking supplies
• Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant
• Helping the team during busy periods between deliveries
• Following all applicable food safety, sanitation, and company procedures

This is a team position. When you're not out making deliveries, you'll help the restaurant team wherever needed.

Driver Requirements

All delivery drivers must meet Marco’s Pizza driver eligibility standards.

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a minimum of 2 years of documented driving history, verified through your driver's license or Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Have a valid driver's license in good standing
• Have a driver's license that is not suspended or probationary
• Have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for making deliveries
• Maintain required automobile insurance
• Be able to safely operate a vehicle and make deliveries in varying weather and traffic conditions

Driving Record Requirements

Applicants must meet the applicable Marco’s Pizza driving standards, including:

• No more than one (1) at-fault accident within the past 36 months / 3 years
• No more than two (2) moving violations within the past 36 months / 3 years

Moving violations generally include violations such as:

• Speeding
• Failure to stop
• Traffic-signal violations
• Other violations involving an action or failure to take an action while the vehicle is in motion

Seatbelt violations and child-support-related license suspensions are not considered moving violations under these guidelines.

Serious Driving Offenses

Applicants must not have been convicted within the past 60 months / 5 years of certain serious driving-related offenses, including:

• Drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, including DUI, impaired driving, possession, or failure to submit to a required blood, urine, or breath test
• Reckless driving
• Speeding 25 MPH or more over the posted speed limit
• Leaving the scene of an accident / hit-and-run
• Participation in an illegal speed contest
• Vehicular homicide
• Eluding a police officer

Driving records will be reviewed as part of the hiring process.

Important: Drivers who do not meet the applicable Marco’s Pizza driver standards may not be eligible to make deliveries.
