General Machine Laborer

Job Summary

Work Hours:

• 5:00am-3:00pm (10hr shifts) Monday thru Thursday.
• While not every week, overtime on Fridays or occasional Saturdays is mandatory and an expectation of the job.

1. Supporting Operations

• Helping load raw materials (like film, paper, adhesive rolls) into machine
• Helping unload finished material and stack or prepare it for the next production step.
• Assisting operators with routine tasks that keep the production line running smoothly, such as staging rolls, feeding film, and preparing machine stations.

2. Material Handling

• Moving heavy rolls or equipment around the area.
• Positioning and prepping materials for production runs.

3. Machine Prep & Assistance

• Assisting with machine startup and shutdown procedures.
• Helping the main operator when issues occur and during line changeovers.

4. Housekeeping and Safety

• Keeping the area clean and organized.
• Removing waste or hazardous materials as directed.
• Following safety procedures and wearing proper PPE.

5. Basic Quality Support

• Helping check material for obvious defects before sending it to the next step.
• Reporting problems to operators or supervisors.

6. Collaboration

• Assisting other team members in meeting production goals.
• Sharing workload and supporting operators

Candidate should be able to lift 35 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally during work shift. Should be able to stand for duration of shift. Must be able to read and write in English and be able to read a tape measure accurately. Forklift experience is a plus, but can be trained onsite.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
