MAR-CO Packaging is a manufacturing company specializing in flexible packaging and converting solutions, including bags, pouches, and coated materials. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting company equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. This position performs routine and preventive maintenance, responds to equipment issues, assists with repairs and improvements, and works to minimize equipment downtime.

Work Hours:
- 8:00am-3:00pm (8hr shifts) Monday thru Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including motors, power transmission components, drives, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and identify the cause of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or other maintenance issues as applicable.
- Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders through the Limble Maintenance Management System, including documenting work performed, parts or materials used, and any additional maintenance needed.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Assist with the installation, adjustment, relocation, modification, and improvement of equipment and machinery.
- Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Communicate equipment problems, recurring issues, and maintenance needs.
- Work with Production employees to identify and resolve equipment and operational issues.
- Assist outside contractors and service technicians as needed.
- Maintain an adequate supply of commonly used maintenance parts and materials and communicate when supplies need to be ordered.
- Adhere to plant safety protocols, including LOTO, PPE, chemical handling rules, and hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
- Comply with OSHA safety, quality, GMP and BRC standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, construction, or related experience preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of equipment, machinery, tools, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify appropriate solutions.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use maintenance software, including Limble.
- Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, instructions, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively with production and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and tasks.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods. The position requires the ability to use hand and power tools and lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as necessary to perform maintenance duties.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
