What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Leader/Driver position at Marco Grading?
Overview
We are looking to hire general laborers that have a valid driver's license. You would drive the company vehicle and oversee the crew assigned for the day and ensure that the job has been completed to company standards. You must have at least 3 years driving history with a clean license. All applicants will be run through the DMV.
Duties
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport crew members, tools, and materials to job sites
- Assign daily tasks to team members based on project needs and individual strengths
- Maintain equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and reporting repairs as needed
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor or construction settings
- Knowledge of water meter details is helpful
- Knowledge of grading and excavating helpful
- Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently; experience with construction projects is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in crew management while driving is essential
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
