- Support day-to-day administration of health and welfare benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental benefits.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and project-based system audits to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
- Process and track benefits related claims and invoices, including life insurance claims, premium billing, and others as needed.
- Support benefits department to perform system testing and audits, identifying issues and need for changes with the configuration of benefits modules.
- Supports the benefits department and performs related duties and projects as assigned.
- Support the coordination and administration of health promotion and wellness programs.
- Prepare necessary data and documentation for plan audits and other reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing various reports related to benefits utilization, costs, and other key metrics.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of employee benefits experience administration including retirement plans, leave of absence, health and welfare plans for mid-size to large organizations
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientated
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Success in improving benefits operations to streamline, automate and close any gaps
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Excel (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Workday experience a plus.
