As the largest Direct Distribution Partner for Dish Wireless (which owns Boost Mobile), we have over 2,000 Boost dealer locations across the United States.
Marceco is currently looking for an experienced Regional Sales Trainer to join the training team in Los Angeles, California.
Our corporate office is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan where we have most of our positions that support our field teams. We also have field sales and account roles across the US that work directly with our Boost retailers. The Regional Sales Trainer is responsible for driving sales performance and customer retention by developing and delivering targeted training programs for Boost Mobile Dealer partners. This role focuses on analyzing KPIs, coaching sales teams, strengthening dealer relationships, and implementing strategies that enhance sales execution, product knowledge, and community engagement.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintains an expert working knowledge of all Boost Mobile sales processes, products, services, promotions, required systems and Dealer compensation structure.
- Analyzes KPI metrics and outlier reporting to identify trends and prioritize Dealer locations for sales training, fraud mitigation, and 3MR best practices, and/or other initiatives defined by Boost.
- Develops and builds strong relationships with new and existing Dealer partners/leadership in order to gain access to reinforce behaviors that drive sales and customer retention while identifying gap areas to develop sales training objectives and goals.
- Creates a training strategy to drive the necessary behaviors during the sales process to increase sales and customer retention; including, but not limited to, offering higher-quality products, services, accessory and value- added services attachment.
- Conducts weekly in-store training in group settings in support of sales and training goals and objectives.
- Mentors and develops Dealers’ sales team members and leadership to ensure consistency and effectiveness of sales process and provides ongoing guidance on proper execution to build high level of proficiency and confidence.
- Measures effectiveness through post-training observation and KPI metrics.
- Regularly collects and provides feedback on sales obstacles, known issues, and best practices.
- Plans, organizes, and communicates training strategy internally and externally and follows up effectively and with urgency; responds to email and phone communications in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates and promotes local marketing platforms to drive consistent engagement for traffic driving purposes.
- Provides consultation to Dealers on systematic support offered through Elevate Performance Management to create KPI, Spiffs, and create commission structure for front line sales team to promote engagement.
- Participates in joint business reviews to gather insight on most impactful sales training opportunities and outlier concerns.
- Provides guidance on talent acquisition tactics to help Dealer partners recruit viable sales team candidates.
- Educates Dealer partners on how to plan, organize, and execute effective events to create awareness within the community and drive traffic to retail locations.
- Ensures compliance with overall company policies and practices are followed.
Non-Essential Responsibilities:
- Participates in on-going compliance projects as needed; aid in ensuring the SAM meets internal monthly compliance requirements.
- Supports other regions as needed for special training initiatives and rollouts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Specific Direction: Follows established work procedures. Receives periodic checks for performance. Refers unique questions/conditions to immediate supervisor.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the wireless industry.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales and account management.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in training or customer service.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in retail preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office suite of products.
- Strong overall knowledge of the wireless retail segment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, understandable, and professional manner.
- Collaborative, with gentle yet effective negotiating skills. As an advisor, helps teams to understand compliance requirements, identify risks, and how to best mitigate those risks.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work for self and team.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
