About the Position
As a Medical Collections Representative, you’ll work with patients on behalf of healthcare providers across the country to help resolve outstanding medical balances. Every conversation is an opportunity to provide excellent customer service while helping patients understand their options and work toward a positive resolution.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, stays motivated working independently, and can remain focused in a structured, repetitive environment. Success in collections comes from consistency, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
No previous medical collections experience is required, however, it is encouraged. We provide comprehensive paid training to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Speak with patients regarding outstanding medical accounts
- Explain account balances and available payment options
- Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Accurately document all account activity
- Meet individual performance goals and quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable regulations
Compensation
- Starting pay of $18.00 per hour
- Uncapped monthly commission based on your individual performance and collected fees
- The harder you work, the more you can earn. There is no commission cap.

What We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Able to stay engaged in a repetitive, goal-driven position
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous collections or call center experience is a plus, but not required
- Veterans are encouraged to apply
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Location Requirement: This position is fully remote after equipment pickup; however, we are currently giving preference to applicants who reside in New Hampshire or Maine.
