Marblehead Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support to students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and behavioral or communication needs. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior plans, collect data, and support students across school environments.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small‑group ABA-based instruction using evidence‑based strategies (DTT, NET, prompting, reinforcement systems).
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
Collect accurate, ongoing behavioral and skill‑acquisition data.
Support students in general education and special education settings, including transitions, specials, lunch, and recess.
Assist with crisis prevention and intervention following district‑approved protocols, (QBS).
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, related service providers, and other support staff.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Participate in required training, team meetings, and professional development.
