Blow Mold Operator – Leominster, MA
Pay Rate: $19.00
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM –6:00 PM
Weekend availability required as needed
Duties:
- Set up and operate blow molding machines to produce plastic parts or containers according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or defects.
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools to ensure products meet specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, change molds, and conduct minor maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Record production data such as quantity, weight, and production time.
- Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure optimal performance.
- Report any mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies during production activities.
- Assist in training new or less experienced operators as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience operating blow mold or other plastic molding machines preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
