Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders at the register using Topaz/Commander or Clover systems.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food payments accurately while providing excellent customer service.
• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area, including bussing tables and sanitizing work surfaces regularly.
• Follow proper food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food preparation tasks in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail math is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Topaz/Commander or Clover POS systems. for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail transactions.
• Previous restaurant experience or working in a quick service & fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
