You will exclusively visit trucking fleets to grow our retread footprint, expand relationships with existing customers, and drive revenue across the United States and Canada. The initial focus will be the East Coast, with opportunities to scale nationwide and into Canada.

The Role
As the Fleet Sales Account Manager, you will be the field-facing driver of retread tire sales to trucking fleets. You will combine strategic account management with hands-on fleet visits to present value-based retread solutions, close deals, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
- Exclusively conduct on-site visits to fleets to identify needs, demonstrate value, and close sales
- Prospect and develop new fleet accounts while expanding penetration within existing fleets
- Develop and execute territory plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and profitability objectives
- Maintain expert knowledge of Marangoni Tread product lines, retread technologies, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape
- Conduct rigorous needs assessments and articulate compelling value propositions
- Gather market intelligence (pricing trends, competitor activity, fleet maintenance cycles, regulatory considerations) for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Credit to ensure on-time delivery and post-sale support
- Engage in ongoing sales training and product knowledge development
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and management reports; maintain CRM data
- Build long-term fleet partnerships and identify co-marketing opportunities with fleets and channel partners
- Represent the company professionally, upholding the brand, service standards, and ethics
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Proven B2B fleet or tire sales experience; retread or commercial tire background preferred
- Deep understanding of truck fleets, maintenance cycles, total cost of ownership (TCO), and retread value proposition
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to articulate technical and economic value
- Strong business acumen with data-driven prospecting, forecasting, and revenue management
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (East Coast focus initially)
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to perform field tasks, including lifting tires and wheels as needed
Preferred
- Industry certifications in fleet management, automotive sales, or retread technology
- Experience with Marangoni or similar retread brands
- Demonstrated success in developing new accounts and expanding revenue within a fleet base
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, or related)
- Relevant certifications considered a plus
- Equivalent field experience will be considered
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of annual and quarterly sales targets; revenue growth from retread products
- Number of new fleet accounts and growth in existing fleet utilization of retread solutions
- Forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene (opportunity stages, next steps, win probability)
- Fleet customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score
- Order-to-delivery cycle time and post-sale issue resolution
