Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·         Process Development: Design workflow layouts and production lines

·         Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.

·         Perform Process Audits: Design of experiments and time studies

·         Utilize lean manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and increase productivity

·         Conduct material and mold trails

·         Serve as the primary leader for cross-functional project teams

·         Ensure all project deliveries meet quality, cost, and timing expectations

·         Collaborate with cross functioning teams on mold designs and secondary fixture designs

·         Resolve potential hazards to mitigate injuries in the production process

·         Utilize external resources to support designs concepts, prototyping, and customer solutions

·         Ensure that all related process documentation is correct and complete

·         Effectively communicate with all team members to streamline processes

·         Engineering 3-D CAD models, STP files, all insulators (heights and insert selections & configurations)
